wristwarmer progress

I have finished one and am about 2/3 done with the other. I think it fits quite well - with the exception of the thumb hole, which is a bit too snug. I hope that some blocking/stretching will take care of that.

I also plan to crochet a little black border around the thumb.

Now, just to wait for it to stop being sweltering-hot so I can wear these.

Ohhh, the heat!!! I'm trying to finish those acursed stockings and I've had about as much as I can take of 26 inches of wool-blend skull lace draped across my lap.

Blocking should stretch that thumbhole out a bit. You're using handspun singles instead of plied stuff, right? If so, that should stretch out pretty nicely.

It was singles, and it did stretch out nicely, also courtesy of drying with hanger-ends stuck through the thumbholes. I've been out of town yet again, so hopefully I can now regather my strength and take a picture of the finished objects. With the camera in my mouth, if necessary.
