Gawd, they're advocating killing with socks! I nearly considered it, but then thought of my public humiliation in the Knitting Olympics and the fact that I'd use it to skive off my homework I figured I'd better let it alone. I'm already rooked into the Vintage KnitALong and some sort of knitting gift exchange thingy.
Oh, fingering yarn could work for Asphyxiation. It might give it a softer look than the crochet cotton. I haven't tried that crochet square in anything but the teeny cotton and the clunky 4-ply stuff I used in the step-by-step pics, so I'm kind of curious.
